It’s interesting in that movies have the ability to give us iconic moments. In 1995, such a moment was realized with the release of a film called “Usual Suspects.” We had the iconic Keyser Soze.
Soze has gone down in history as the villain nobody could beat. The name that inspires terror in the blood of every criminal who falls into his path. I think there might be one person who could beat Soze and that person is Jack Smith. How ironic is it not?
How ironic that as we all sat on the edges of our seats, waiting for an indictment regarding January 6, Smith instead, picked a superseding indictment from his bag of tricks and Voila — Yet another charge against Donald Trump was filed.
Trump certainly did not expect it. Nobody seemed to expect it. But that’s the delicious thing about irony. Sometimes it comes when one least expects it. So Trump was indicted along with his “pool boy,” Carlos De Oliveira.
Attempting to conceal or destroy evidence, is a pretty serious thing. And that is precisely what Trump is being accused of. So yes, Trump did get indicted today and yes he will continue to get indicted on other days, and yes there will be a Truth-Social melt-down, and yes it will be a huge one, and yes, he will call for people to help him and yes, nobody can or will and yes, he will eventually go to trial and yes, “And like that…he’s gone.”
